3 Wise Men

Every story in the Bible is more than a story. It is a true event that connects past and future events. We must understand the stories in the Bible are every bit as real as the story of what happened to you yesterday.
Take for instance the story of the 3 wise men. Not only should this story be as real as it was to them, Joseph and Mary, or Herod. Not only is the story itself significant, but even the gifts are symbolic. Gold represents a King. Frankincense is a symbol of divinity, and myrrh represents suffering. This really happened and is no coincidence these represent Christ.
God understands a time we cannot comprehend. His instructions to us are demonstrated in the Bible. When reading, we must understand every word is significant.
