“Witnessing on a Human Level”
Matthew 21: 23-32
Christ was born of the flesh. At any point in his life he could have used divine authority. Instead he used his time to spread love. Instead of seeing God walk around, people saw a man walking around who was filled with love, humility, who dealt with people on a human level. Instead of expressing Divine ability he connected with people on a human level.
As Christians we sometimes put us on a higher level than those who are not. Instead of connecting with people on a equal level like Christ did, we condemn sinners (while forgetting we are all sinners). Just like Jesus was easier to confront because he has put himself on a human level, we would be more effective witnesses when we put ourselves on equal footing
